What is SugarSpun Marketing?
Founded in 2010 by Jennifer Evans Laycock, SugarSpun Marketing is a botique marketing agency focused on helping companies build sustainable social media strategies. Jennifer has made a career out of finding unique and creative ways to connect with consumers without spending a fortune in marketing dollars. Recognized as an industry leader in small business social media strategies, she is known for using real language and a common sense approach that delivers solid results while still allowing her clients to fully understand and participate in the process.
Our Experience
Jennifer has worked for a variety of online marketing firms in the past decade, gaining experience running an agency team as well as working directly with small clients. Current clients include everything from a cruise company specializing in arctic adventures to a large metropolitan hospital to a company building B2B distribution channel.
Jennifer has also spent six years as Editor-in-Chief of Search Engine Guide, a popular industry site focused on educating small businesses about the various aspects of online marketing and is the Social Media Faculty Chair at MarketMotive.
Jennifer is a highly requested speaker and trainer and serves as chair of the bi-annual Small Business Marketing Unleashed conferences and as Social Media faculty chair for Market Motive, a premier online training facility.
In addition, Jennifer is also the author of two books, including the Small Business Guide to Search Engine Marketing. While she has worked with companies of all sizes, some of Jennifer’s most recognizable clients include companies like Highlights for Children, Verizon, American Greetings, and Option Line, a national 24-hour crisis-pregnancy hotline.
